La Puerta

Created with La Puerta Collective, La Silla del Pueblo (“The People’s Chair”) was a public installation and protest symbol critiquing Puerto Rico’s Fiscal Control Board (La Junta). Positioned as a seat of collective power, it invited reflection on autonomy, imposed governance, and the right to self-determination.
